Governor Tom Wolf Delivers 2015-16 Budget Plan

Governor Tom Wolf addressed a joint session of the state legislature today to unveil his proposed state spending plan for the fiscal year that begins July 1st. The aggressive proposal raises the state income tax and sales tax; reduces property taxes; institutes an extraction tax for natural gas drillers; and increases funding to education.
